The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is in the heart of Robeson County. It is about an hour and a half from the beaches and about three hours from the mountains! Home to the tribes of the Tuscarora and Lumbee Indians, Robeson County is rich in local history and culture. Robeson is one of the largest counties in North Carolina, while the town of Pembroke is small and quaint.
The campus sits in the middle of Pembroke. There is no shortage of activities for students on campus. Campus Life is always planning a variety of activities on a weekly basis to encourage students to stay on campus and enjoy their college experience.
